About the Role
We are seeking a Learning Content Associate (consultant) to support the development of structured, high-quality learning materials for global public health training programs.
This is a short-term consultancy, not a staff position. Work will be assigned in discrete batches over the contract period, with flexibility in scheduling.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating ideas into clear, engaging learning content and can work independently from outlines and guidance.
You will work closely with the lead consultant to develop learning modules for international organizations.
What You Will Do
You will support a mix of content development and revision tasks, including:
- Learning Module Development
- Draft slide decks (15–20 slides) from provided outlines
- Develop pre- and post-assessment questions (MCQs)
- Draft facilitator guides (timing, instructions, key points)
- Draft learner guides (summaries, activity instructions)
- Revision and Adaptation of Training Materials
- Revise and improve facilitator manuals based on feedback and guidance
- Adapt lesson plans for different training contexts
- Draft and refine participant-facing training materials
- Support structuring and formatting of workshop materials
- General Content Structuring and Formatting
- Organize content within provided templates
- Ensure clarity, consistency, and logical flow across materials
You will be expected to produce clear, well-structured first drafts that can be efficiently reviewed and refined.
What We Are Looking For
Essential:
- Experience developing learning or training materials (slides, guides, or similar)
- Strong writing and structuring skills in English
- Ability to take a rough outline and produce a clear, logical draft
- Attention to detail and ability to follow templates
- Reliability and responsiveness within agreed timelines
Preferred:
- Background in public health, global health, or related fields
- Experience with instructional design or adult learning principles
- Experience revising facilitator guides or workshop materials
- Familiarity with international NGOs or international development contexts
How You Will Work
- Work is part-time and task-based, not full-time employment
- Assignments will be provided weekly
- Each assignment is expected to take 1–3 days of work
- Communication will be simple and direct (email or messaging)
